In Association with New Writing South and the Writers Guild, Becky Ayebia Clarke featured on a panel entitled "Meet the Agents" at the Said Business School, Oxford in April 2009.
Ayebia's published writers, Uchenna Izundu and Yaba Badoe contributed to a discussion on a panel chaired by Ayebia Clarke entitled "The African Family & Cultural Traditions" at the Oxford Literary Festival at Christchurch College, Oxford on Thursday April 2009.
Ayebia participated in the University of Newcastle's Conference on ‘New Writing from Africa' in March 2009.
